01-28-2011 Her name is Bindi. A female raccoon approx 8 to 10 weeks old found at a front door orphaned. Hernando
County. 03-01-2011 Bindi is growing up and doing great. She has been moved to a outside housing.

01-19-2011 His name is Baily. A Muscovy duck abandon on Old Dixie Hwy at the canal. Pasco County.
01-28-2011 A Osprey found in the Airpkia area on the ground at night in Pasco County. Brought to the Vet and has
Upper Respiratory Infection. Federal Rehab picked it up. 01-31-2011 This Osprey has passed away from lead poison.
May you fly high and free in heaven my little friend.
01-30-2011 Two baby raccoons found along St Rd 41. The mom got hit by a car while they were trying to cross the road.
The babies were by the mom crying. Concern citizens for wildlife witness it all. They are approx 8 to 10 weeks old. Male
and female. Pasco County. 03-01-2011 These two little critters are doing fine and have been moved to a outside housing.
02-07-2011 Three baby squirrels fell from a high tree near County Line road and were orphan. They all are taking formula
and doing fine. 03-19-2011. These little critters are doing great and have been moved to a outside housing.
02-12-2011 Three baby squirrels were rescued in Hernando County after a tree was taken down. All are doing fine.
02-27-2011 A baby raccoon was found in a backyard yard in Tampa. Concern citizens for our wildlife met us half way. It
was a 51 mile round trip for us. An assessment was done. She has no open wounds, her breathing is clear, but she is
very thin and a little dehydrated. She has a set of lungs on her as she was crying load when Laurie was making her
formula. 03-20-2011. This little girl is growing and doing great.
02-27-2011 A soccer coach in Hernando county notice something on the sidelines. He walked over and saw it was a baby
raccoon. Having some experience in raccoons, he kneel down and put his hand out. The baby came up to him crying.
The baby was starving to death. He called us. She is about ten weeks old and all skin and bones. Her name is Bennett
and she is in critical condition.
03-01-2011 A baby gopher turtle was found in Brooksville. Concern citizens for our wildlife saw a dog playing with it. It has
a small puncture wound on its shell. The little guy is eating and doing great.
03-02-2011 Two baby squirrels were brought to Animal Emergency. They were found orphaned.
03-02-2011 A baby raccoon was found in the Spring Hill area orphan and was brought to the facility.
03-10-2011 A baby rabbit was found in the Spring Hill area. The little critter was orphan. Concern citizens for wildlife saved
this little guy and brought him to us for care.
03-18-2011 A baby dove was rescued by a Pasco County worker. The dove was standing along the side of the road that
they were getting ready to pave. He picked the bird up and kept it in a box all day in a quiet place to reduce shock. We
want to say thank you for saving this little critters life. 04-10-2011 This little critter did so well we open the door to his cage
and he took flight.
03-18-2011 Received a call from FWC about a Gopher turtle that kids were playing with. They were turning the little guy
on his back in the sun. They also covered up his hole. He is doing great and will be released. 03-21-2011 This guy was
doing great and has been released in a safe place.
04-09-2011 A young female raccoon was found in a backyard by concern citizens for wildlife in Pasco County. She was
just laying their with many bot flies around. We managed to pick her up and put her into a carrier. We notice her
stretching her front legs out . That was telling us she had pain in her stomach or tail end. We rushed her to the vet. We
are sorry to tell you that she was loaded with larva inside from a small wound she had near her tail. She was put to sleep.
We want to say Thank You to the concern citizens for trying to save this little girl. May you play, run fast and have fun
in heaven my little girl.
03-31-2011 This little baby came all the way from Ocala. His name is Josey. He is doing great and eating. He has a little
problem of seeing we think. He is very shy and scared of everything. Sometimes we saw him bumping into things and
looking around for sound. We will keep you posted.
04-02-2011 Two gentleman from Hernando County found a baby raccoon. They did not know who to call right away so they
took care of this little baby. They fed it mother milk until they found us and brought the baby over The little baby is approx
15 days olds if that. They did an excellent job taking care of this baby and we want to thank them for saving this little
babies life. 04-17-2011 The little baby just opened his eyes. 05-07-2011 The little guy is doing great and growing up.
04-07-2011 A Opossum was causing some trouble in a neighborhood. She was trapped and brought to the facility. She
had five babies with her. She is resting and taking care of her babies. They will be released in a safe place when her
babies get a little older. 06-20-2011 Mom and her babies have been released in a safe place.
04-08-2011 A very small gopher turtle was found by a Pasco County employee from Road and Bridge.. He was working
along the side of a road and noticed this little fella. He was so young his shell was still soft and was prey for large birds.
Also he would have not had a chance crossing the road. He is at the facility and is doing fine.
04-09-2011 A call came in about a owl sitting on a window ledge. When we arrived, it was a baby Barred Owl. He had a
injury to his nose, wing and was dehydrated. We rush him to the vet and he received treatment for his injuries. He is
doing great and has been transported to a bird of pray facility in Citrus County
04-17-2011 We were driving down to Pinellas County on East Lake Rd early Sunday morning. We notice two cars and
people in the median. They were holding a deer that got struck by a car. We turned around and offered our assistance.
They were so grateful. It was a young buck approx one year old. He had no open wounds. He was not moving around a
lot and was in full shock. We rushed him to Emergency Vet back in Pasco County. A IV was started, x-rays were taken
and pain medication was given. More test were being done. A few hours later the young buck had died of internal
bleeding. We want to say thank you to the two lady's that tried to save this little buck. May you have no pain, run fast
and free in heaven my little boy.
04-17-2011 A call came in from the Hernando County sheriffs Office. A raccoon was walking around someone's front yard
during the day. When we arrived, we notice the raccoon was walking carefully on his back legs like he was injured. We
captured him and brought him back to the facility. We are checking his back legs for wounds. He will be kept in quarantine
as we cannot rule out distemper. We want to say thank you to the Hernando County Sheriff Dept and the concern citizens
for trying to save this little guy's life. 04-21-2011 This little guy has stop eating, drinking and seizures have started. We
brought him to the vet and he was put to sleep. Run fast in heaven my little boy.
04-21-2011 A concern citizen from Hernando County rescued this rabbit. She has an injury to her face and eye. We are
putting antibiotic cream on her wounds. She is eating, drinking and doing great. If she does not gain sight in the one eye,
We might have to keep her here at the facility. We want to say thank you to the concern citizen for saving this little girl.
04-25-2011 A concern citizen for our wildlife from east Pasco found this baby raccoon after his dog brought it home. He
took care of it for a couple of days until he found us. There were no open wounds and seems to be in great shape. His
eye's just open up so he is around 21 days old. We want to say thank you to this gentleman for saving this little guy and
meeting us at the Hess station and 41.
04-25-2011 His name is Scooby. Concern citizens for wildlife in Pasco County found this baby raccoon that fell 25' from a
tree. It looks like he landing on his face with wounds. There seems to be no broken bones but can not rule out internal
blunt trauma. He is on a heating pad and is taken liquids. We want to say that you to the couple that found this little guy
and trying to save his life. 04-30-2011 Little Scooby just came home from an operation to fix a broken leg. He is doing fine
and loves being home.
04-28-2011 Concern citizens of Pasco County rescued a gopher turtle that was hit by a car near Daddy'o Donuts. A
veterinarian gave antibiotics and placed cream on the wound. A fiber glass cloth was placed over the wound to keep it
clean. The little guy is doing great. We want to say thank you to the citizens that saved this little guys life. 06-18-2011 This
guy has been released and is doing fine.
05-01-2011 This little guy was found walking around during the day. Concern citizens found him and gave us a call. We
suspected distemper. After keeping him in quarantine and giving him water and food we noticed seizures. We brought him
to the vet and he went to sleep peacefully. May you run fast in heaven my little friend and be free.
05-04-2011 This little darling was found and saved by concern citizens of Hernando County. He was orphaned. He is approx
four weeks old. He has no open wounds or marks and he is taken formula.
05-05-2011 Workers from Pasco County Tree Dept (west side) were cutting down a tree on Fox Hollow Dr. They notice
these babies in the tree and carefully handed the limb down to workers on the ground and called us. These are little baby
wood peckers. They have been moved to a rehabber north of us. They are eating and doing fine. We want to thank the
workers of the tree dept for saving these little guys.
05-07-2011 This little owl was brought over to us. He is dehydrated and has a injured leg. We have brought him to the vet to
be looked at. He will be moved to a rehabber just north of us.
05-05-2011 Workers from Pasco County Tree Dept. (west side) were cutting down the same tree when they found these
starlings. 05-14-2011 This little guys are ready to go and have been released.
06-18-2011 This guy has been released with other turtles and is doing great.
05-16-2011 A call came in from a area two miles north of Weeki Wachee. They were stuck in a wall of a home. We were able
to climb up in the attic and reach down and get them. Everybody is doing fine.
05-21-2011 Another Gopher turtle was rescued by a concern citizen for our wildlife of Pasco County. She was driving on
Soft Wind Rd and noticed this guy was struck by a car. The shell is cracked but it looks like he is going to be ok. We want
to say thank you for saving this little guys lift. 05-22-2011 This little guys shell was repaired. He is doing great. 06-18-2011
This turtle did great and has been released with others in a safe place.
05-23-2011 A baby rabbit was found and rescued by concern citizens for our wildlife. He was brought over to our facility for
care. She has no open wounds and is doing great.
05-30-2011 This mom Opossum got herself into trouble in the Spring Hill area. At the same time she had pinkies in her
pouch and having more. We got her back to the facility and she will be given a nice housing to raise her babies. They all
will be released when the babies are older. We want to say thank you to the concern citizen for wildlife for saving this baby
girl. 08-30-2011 Mom and her babies are doing great and have been released in a safe place.
06-05-2011 Face Book friend Michelle rescued these two little darlings and they made their way to our facility. They both
are very healthy and are doing fine. We want to say thank you to Michelle for saving these two little critters.
06-12-2011 This old guy got himself into trouble in the Spring Hill area. He was rescued by two concern citizens for wildlife.
He is eating, drinking and doing fine. He will be released in a couple of days. We want to say thank you to the two
gentleman for saving this guys life. 06-15-2011 This guy is very healthy and has been released in a safe area.
06-25-2011 All the Muscovy ducks have grown up and have been released in a safe place. Swim and be free my little friends.
08-22-2011 A baby squirrel fell out of a tree during a storm. He was rescued by a concern citizen from Tampa. He drove all
the way to our facility to give this little baby a chance to life. The little critter is doing fine. He is taking formula. Everyday that
goes by he is getting a little stronger. We want to say thank you for saving this little guy.
08-30-2011 Baby raccoons are coming in from concern citizens. They all are doing fine.
09-11-2011 Received a call from FWC at 9:30pm about a baby fawn in Westley Chapel. Concern citizens for wildlife found the
little guy laying in the road. He is a couple days old and seems to be in good shape. He is drinking formula and doing fine.
10-07-2011 This is King Arthur. Rescued with a piece of pvc pipe on his leg.
10-22-2011 This is Tarter who was rescued and is blind.
